Baby Hands, 2016, cast resin and Plexiglas
The hands, particularly the Baby Hands, represent the extreme importance and the accompanying demands of nurturing. No Wrong Way was commissioned by the Slocum River Reserve, which is owned by The Trustees of Reservations. This public space has nature walks, fields and woodlands where parents often bring their children. This sculpture is a whirligig with hands. It is meant to reference those conversations between parent and child which start with “Look!”.
